What is powder galvanizing

Powder zincizing is zinc leaching agent for zinc source, and through heating to produce zinc, iron atom mutual diffusion and in the steel surface has been dipped zinc layer (zinc-ferroalloy layer) surface treatment process.

The main component of powder zincizing is pure zinc powder, which adds appropriate filling materials such as alumina, refractory soil and ammonium chloride.

The most prominent feature of powder zincizing is not a coating attached externally, but the matrix metal and the infiltration layer constitute an organic body, so the combination is very firm. The hardness and corrosion resistance of powder zinc-impregnated layer are much better than that of electrogalvanized layer.

Powder zincizing process is to bury the surface treated workpiece in a sealed container with powder zincizing agent, heat it to the melting point of zinc, hold it for a certain time, and then cool it to room temperature with the furnace.

The most prominent feature of powder zinc infiltration is uniform layer, no ambroxel, almost no deformation. Especially suitable for nuts, bolts and other fasteners and hardware products, complex shape of the workpiece and powder metallurgy products surface anti-corrosion treatment process.
